Eleven inch tall wall crucifix in ceramic, handmade in Belgium in the 1980s. Glossy marine green cross with red and yellow interior cross shape. The color red has fat lava textured craters. A large piece with eye catching juxtaposition of colors. This cross is part of a large collection of handmade crosses, all unique and specially made by a 20th century Belgian ceramicist. A one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece that is part of a large collection of crosses made by Belgian artisan potters from the 1950s to 1970s. A unique decorative item for anyone interested in distinctive folk art or religious items as home decor.
